A deposit is required to secure your booking and includes a portion of the hourly rate plus a nonrefundable booking fee (waived for full-time residents with proof of residency on requests made 72+ hours in advance). The remaining balance and any reimbursements are due directly to your sitter via cash or Venmo at the end of the booking. Gratuities may also be given directly to the sitter. Failure to pay at the end of care will result in collection via the original payment method plus a $50 late fee.

Cancellations:

• 72+ hours notice = deposit is refundable

• less than 72 hours before your booking = deposit nonrefundable.

In the unlikely event your sitter cancels and no replacement is available, you will receive a full refund plus a $20 credit toward a future booking. If a replacement is available but you elect to cancel, charges are nonrefundable.

All bookings, schedule changes, and communication must go through Field to Forest management. Clients may not contact or hire sitters directly for outside work (including babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting, or ongoing childcare), nor refer sitters to third parties for outside work. Any violation may result in immediate loss of access to Field to Forest services.

By booking, you agree that:

• You authorize Field to Forest to transport pets and obtain emergency veterinary care using reasonable judgment if you are unreachable, and agree to be responsible for all related costs.

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Field to Forest from claims arising from pet behavior, home conditions, or inaccurate information provided.

• You acknowledge pets may experience stress-related behaviors (including illness, escape, or accidents) and agree Field to Forest is not liable unless caused by gross negligence.

• You confirm pets are current on legally required vaccinations.

• You understand Field to Forest is not responsible for issues related to home security systems, locks, fences, utilities, or pre-existing property conditions.

This agreement applies to all services, including drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays (with or without pets). Booking confirms acceptance of these terms.

Field to Forest reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a pet’s behavior, home conditions, or other circumstances are deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

I acknowledge that Field to Forest acts primarily as a referral service connecting families with independent childcare and pet care providers. While reasonable care is taken in the referral process, I understand that:
