A deposit is required to secure your booking and includes a portion of the hourly rate plus a nonrefundable booking fee (waived for full-time residents with proof of residency on requests made 72+ hours in advance). The remaining balance and any reimbursements are due directly to your sitter via cash or Venmo at the end of the booking. Gratuities may also be given directly to the sitter. Failure to pay at the end of care will result in collection via the original payment method plus a $50 late fee.

Cancellations: 

• Visitors: 72+ hours notice = deposit is refundable; within 72 hours = deposit nonrefundable. Booking fee is nonrefundable.

• Locals (booking fee waived): deposits are nonrefundable, but may be transferred to a new booking scheduled within six weeks of the cancellation, provided at least 72 hours’ notice is given. 

In the unlikely event your sitter cancels and no replacement is available, you will receive a full refund plus a $30 credit toward a future booking. Please reach out to us about Sitter Insurance for additional peace of mind!

All bookings, schedule changes, and communication must go through Field to Forest management. Clients may not contact or hire sitters directly for outside work (including babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting, or ongoing childcare), nor refer sitters to third parties for outside work. Any violation may result in immediate loss of access to Field to Forest services.

I acknowledge that Field to Forest acts solely as a referral service connecting families with independent childcare providers. While reasonable care is taken in the referral process, I understand that Field to Forest does not employ, supervise, or control any referred sitter, and cannot guarantee the timing, quality, suitability, or safety of services provided. Field to Forest is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any sitter, including injury, illness, negligence, or property damage, nor can it guarantee outcomes such as exact schedule adherence, child behavior, or personal expectations during care.

I hereby release and hold harmless Field to Forest, LLC, its owners, sitters, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from services provided by any referred sitter.

By submitting this booking and signing below, I confirm that I have read and agree to Field to Forest’s Terms & Conditions and accept full responsibility for all children included in this booking, including any children from other families participating in shared care.
